Our culture is based on respect, learning, and pride in doing meaningful work that helps communities transition to clean power. ### **Position Details** - **Schedule:** Monday-Friday, 7AM-3:30PM, Overtime available - **Pay:** Pay: $35–$45/hour (based on experience) + performance-based bonuses - **Location:** Various sites in the Chicagoland area ### Key Responsibilities - Install and maintain electrical systems for residential and commercial PV solar projects. - Safely bend and install rigid conduits up to 2" using hand tools, hydraulic benders, and power equipment. - Read and interpret single-line diagrams and construction sets to complete installations accurately. - Run DC/AC circuits, install battery backup systems, EV chargers, and perform residential service upgrades. - Ensure compliance with NEC codes, OSHA standards, and local regulations. - Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, collaborating with inspectors as needed. - Maintain accurate documentation, materials, tools, and vehicle upkeep. - Adhere to Fresh Coast Solar’s high standards for safety and workmanship. ### Skills, Knowledge and Expertise **Requirements** - 3+ years of electrical installation, troubleshooting, and repair experience (required). - Knowledge of NEC codes and local electrical codes (3+ years required). - Residential solar installation experience (preferred). - Previous experience supervising projects and team members. - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. - Comfortable working on rooftops, at heights, in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor weather conditions. - Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to multitask. ### Compensation & Benefits We offer a comprehensive benefits package to support your health, well-being, and future: - Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance (employer-paid contribution toward premiums) - Employer-paid **Life Insurance** ($25,000 policy) - Employer-paid **Short- and Long-Term Disability Insurance** - **401(k) retirement plan** with traditional and ROTH options - Paid Time Off (PTO) & Holidays - Illinois Paid Leave for All Workers Act (IPLAWA) compliant ### **Ready to Power the Future?** Apply today to join a growing team that’s shaping the Midwest’s renewable energy landscape.
