**This position is responsible for:** Monitors the activity of long-term residents participating in a residential rehabilitation or treatment program; ensures the safety, security, and compliance to house rules; maintains accurate and complete client and case records and logs containing pertinent information; ensures that the long-term housing facility is maintained in a neat and proper order; ensures compliance of the treatment plan and teaching skills are adhered to. **Key Responsibilities:** - Monitors the activities of the resident’s ensuring safety and compliance with long-term resident facility house rules; checks the security of all windows and doors; makes periodic rounds of entire facility; records any unique situations occurring on assigned shift. - Responds to emergencies in a calm manner and initiates appropriate corrective actions in accordance with established policies and procedures. - Completes required paperwork representing client intake as well as daily case notes; inputs data into the computer in order to maintain client records. - Assists with all verbal and physical aggressions that might occur from residents **Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:** - Constant amount of physical effort required associated with hand movement, holding, finger dexterity, reading, writing, eye-hand coordination, vision, hearing, talking and sitting at least 90% of the work time; rare to occasional amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting up to 30 lbs, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, squatting, crawling, and reaching at least 30% of the work time. - Work is performed in a normal office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts - associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like. - Work requires travel in order to conduct community and home visits. **Employee Benefits:** - Paid Time Off - Retirement Savings Plan Available - Supplemental Insurance Available - Voluntary Life Insurance ***and more!*** **WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOU** - High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred **AND** - one year experience performing security or social service work preferred, **OR** - Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. **Licenses and Certifications:** - Valid State Driver’s License - CPR and First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain within established timeframe) **Equal Opportunity Employer: Veterans | Disabled**
