We're seeking a motivated, customer-focused **Residential Leasing Consultant** to join our Stamford headquarters team. In this role, you'll virtually manage leasing across multiple communities, partnering with on-site, marketing, and property management teams from first inquiry through move-in. If you enjoy building relationships, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and love combining sales with operational excellence, we'd love to meet you. **What You'll Do:** **Deliver an Outstanding Leasing Experience** - Guide prospective residents through the leasing process from initial inquiry to signed lease, virtually (over the phone or via email) - Respond quickly to leads and maintain consistent communication throughout the customer journey. - Schedule and coordinate apartment tours with on-site teams. - Build relationships with prospects while helping them find the best home to meet their needs. - Drive strong lead-to-lease conversion through exceptional service and follow-up. **Manage the Customer Lifecycle** - Prepare, review, and execute lease agreements. - Process rental applications, verify documentation, and coordinate approvals. - Manage deposits, balances due, concessions, renewals, move-in and move-out documentation and communications. - Ensure prospect, applicant, and resident records are accurate, complete, and compliant with company policies. **Optimize Performance** - Monitor leasing activity, response times, and pipeline performance. - Maintain accurate CRM and property management records (Yardi experience preferred). - Collaborate with sales, marketing, and on-site property teams to ensure a smooth handoff from prospect to resident. - Identify opportunities to improve workflows, eliminate inefficiencies, and enhance the customer experience. **What We're Looking For:** - 2–5 years of high-volume customer service or off-premise sales environment. - Proven ability to cultivate relationships, and convert prospects into customers through phone and digital communication - Strong organizational skills, with exceptional attention to detail. - Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Experience using CRM systems; Yardi experience is a plus. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - A positive, collaborative attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. **Why Join RMS Companies?** - Competitive annual salary of **$55,000–$70,000**, commensurate with experience. - Full-time position with scheduling flexibility based on business needs. - Opportunity to contribute to a growing real estate organization with an established presence. - Collaborative headquarters environment with exposure to leasing, marketing, property management, and operations teams. - Culture focused on hospitality, teamwork, innovation, and operational excellence.
