Resident Care Tech- Hillcrest (FT- 0.9 FTE, Night Shift)

**Position Summary:** The Resident Care Tech of the assisted living facility works as a team member with other staff on the delivery of resident care in order to facilitate resident satisfaction, facility efficiency, and provider productivity. The Resident Care Tech assists with the day-to-day needs of the residents related to comfort, mobility, medication assistance, and ADLs. To promote safety, the Resident Care Tech assists residents with attendance at activities, appointments, and meals. **Minimum Qualifications:** **Required** - American Heart Association BLS required within two (2) months of hire. - ServSafe certification required within two (2) months of hire. - Current Driver’s License and successful completion of driver’s record check if assigned to drive. **Preferred** - High School Diploma or equivalent. - Medication Aide I License, Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, or Emergency Medical Technician certification. - One (1) year experience working in a customer service or hospitality role for high-end clientele. - One (1) year experience working as an aide or caregiver in an assisted living facility, long term care facility, skilled nursing facility, or hospital. *\*\*Current Bozeman Health employees hired prior to September 2025 may not be required to meet the updated driving job qualifications listed in this job description unless identified by the supervisor(s) as required to drive.* **Essential Job Functions:** In addition to the essential functions of the job listed below, employees must have on-time completion of all required education as assigned per DNV requirements, Bozeman Health policy, and other registry requirements. - Accountable for coordinating care for residents with the nursing staff. - Implement the plan of care for residents established under direction of nursing staff, reporting observations and comments to nursing. - Obtain and record vital signs. Document I&Os as needed. Assist with other resident care duties as requested by nursing, including two-hour checks. - Provide medication assistance to residents under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse. - Demonstrate awareness of necessary safety precautions and promote safety when assisting residents with attendance at activities, appointments, and meals. - Assist with setting up dining area and serving meals to residents, families, and guests. - Driving the bus/van transporting Hillcrest/Aspen Pointe/Birchwood residents to/from appointments as needed and assigned. **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** - Demonstrates sound judgment, patience, and maintains a professional demeanor at all times. - Exercises tact, discretion, sensitivity, and maintains confidentiality. - Performs essential job functions successfully in a busy and stressful environment. - Learns current and new computer applications and office equipment utilized at Bozeman Health. - Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. - Analyzes, organizes, and prioritizes work while meeting multiple deadlines. **Schedule Requirements** - This role requires regular and sustained attendance. - The position may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts. - On-call work may be required to respond promptly to organizational, patient, or employee needs. **Physical Requirements** - **Lifting (Repeatedly – 50 pounds):** Exerting force occasionally and/or using a negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects or people. - **Sit (Occasionally):** Maintaining a sitting posture for extended periods may include adjusting body position to prevent discomfort or strain. - **Stand (Repeatedly):** Maintaining a standing posture for extended periods may include adjusting body position to prevent discomfort or strain. - **Walk (Repeatedly):** Walking and moving around within the work area requires good balance and coordination. - **Climb (Rarely):** Ascending or descending ladder…
