This position interacts with every team at Akur8 to various degrees: Sales, Product, R&D, Marketing, Engineering, and Leadership. You will be a subject matter expert and will act as a translator between all of these departments and the “language” of insurance, actuaries, and our clients. Externally, you will work with client contacts such as Chief Actuaries, Heads of Reserving, Actuaries, our consulting partners, and other reserving professionals. Our Reserving Actuaries are responsible for driving process modernization for clients using our proprietary insurance reserving software, Arius and ReservingOne. The role involves helping our industry leading clients integrate Akur8 reserving software into their operational workflow - including understanding their data, processes, and reporting requirements - and then training them on the use of our solution once it has been implemented. Key responsibilities of this role will include the following: - Leading proof of concepts and demos of Akur8 reserving solutions: Quickly identify the key requirements of prospects and adapt a presentation to address topics necessary to key stakeholders. Design a proof of concept that addresses all questions on the applicability of Akur8 software to their reserving processes. - Product roadmap guidance: Provide industry expertise to our product team as they build out the roadmap for our next generation reserving product.
