Research Associate - Healthcare

Overview The Insights product is a new offering for Guidepoint's Institutional investment and corporate clients, that offers teleconferences, surveys, and in-person events. The teleconferences live in a transcript library portal, which covers a wide of industries/topics that enables our clients to make informed decisions. All content features experts from Guidepoint’s proprietary global network and is conceptualized and hosted by former investment professionals (i.e., private equity/hedge fund), sell-side equity research analysts, and industry professionals. This position will offer the flexibility of a hybrid/remote working environment, after the initial 3 months. What You'll Do: Work closely with the Insights team to execute teleconferences that will cover the healthcare sector Proactively monitor pipeline of upcoming call topics so experts can be identified or selected 1-2 weeks before scheduled call date Recruit new advisors to join the Guidepoint network, using a variety of outreach tools and resources provided. Communicate with potential experts via phone to answer questions or discuss/verify their credentials Develop effective screening criteria for experts to test knowledge of subject matter; Review responses to screening questions from experts to gauge sufficient knowledge of subject matter Finalize scheduling and call logistics details directly with experts What You Have: Bachelor’s degree or higher with strong academic record is required 0 to 3 years of work experience Excellent communication and interaction skills, including demonstrated written and verbal abilities in English and Mandarin Proactive, result-driven, initiative and ability to go the extra mile Able to deliver excellent service to clients and surpass their expectations within tight timelines Demonstrated ability to work in a team atmosphere but also independently Desire to learn about the business and to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment What We Offer: 14 annual leave days (PTO Days), 11 legal holidays, and 7 full paid sick days Social insurances and housing fund Shanghai CBD location, Hong Kou Football Stadium with Line 3 and line 8 metro Free snacks and beverages in the office, including free coffee Competitive salary depending on experience.
