Research and Communications Design Assistant (Housing for the Future)

We are looking for a motivated and creative student to support with the preparation for, and delivery of an event. The role will involve identifying and collating information from case study projects from across the UK and beyond and preparing posters using a set template. The role will also involve supporting the set up and delivery of the event. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in low carbon housing research, communications, and event delivery, while working with the CLCBE team. Specific tasks include: Collate case study material • Gather information from projects across Wales and the UK including CLCBE, Homes as Power Stations, ORP, and IHP. • Identify relevant information from case studies to share clear, engaging case studies with attendees. Visual Content Preparation • Design posters using a standard template to showcase low carbon housing in practice. • Help to set up the design the layout of a digital publication of case studies. Support the design and delivery of the Housing for the Future event • Assist with organising the Housing for the Future event (mid September 2026, 2–5pm + networking) • Help run the event on the day - setup, coordination, attendee support. Please note, you must be available on the 24th of July 2026 for an interview. ## Qualifications Who we are looking for: ARCHI undergraduates (UG), postgraduate taught (PGT) or postgraduate research (PGR) students are welcome to apply as this role will suit the skills developed through your studies. The applicant must have excellent attention to detail and be organised and methodical in their approach to the work. The applicant should be self-motivated. The applicant will need to attend weekly meetings to discuss progress.
