Repair Technician

Each office within Elevated has local operations and staff dedicated to providing a superior standard of service, and now benefits also from a world-class corporate infrastructure, state-of-the-art facilities, and superior training and support for our workforce. **Duties/Responsibilities:** - Installs new elevators & escalators, including electrical work, wiring, and programming of control systems. - Maintains and repairs elevators, escalators, and other vertical transportation equipment. - Performs routine maintenance, such as oiling & cleaning mechanical parts, and inspecting safety devices. - Responds to emergency calls and makes repairs quickly and efficiently. - Updates and maintains records of repairs and maintenance performed. - Conducts safety audits and ensures that all equipment meets safety standards and regulations. - Stays current with advancements in elevator technology and industry regulations. - Performs other duties as assigned. - Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. **Attributes:** - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings & manuals - Works well independently - Good communication skills & ability to work well with others - Excellent problem-solving skills - Great attention to detail - Good troubleshooting skills **Requirements:** - High School Diploma or equivalent - Certified Elevator Technician degree or Elevator Mechanic License - Valid driver’s license and clean driving record - Must be available to work on an on-call basis in cases of emergency
