Renewable Energy Specialist – New Builds ☀️🔋⚡ Help homeowners get more from their new home. Smart Energy is looking for a Renewable Energy Specialist to join our growing New Builds team, working directly with some of Australia’s home builders and their customers. This is a unique opportunity to sit at the intersection of customer experience, renewable energy and consultative sales. You’ll help customers understand how they can get more from their new home through larger solar systems, battery storage and EV charging solutions — creating better long-term savings for the homeowner while delivering a fantastic experience for our builder partners. This isn’t about high-pressure selling. It’s about building trust, understanding what the customer actually needs and helping them make a smarter decision for their home. About the Role 🏡 You’ll join a small, high-impact team of two and manage customers who have been referred to Smart Energy through our builder partnerships. By the time they reach you, they’re already building a new home and have an opportunity to review the renewable energy solution included in their build. Your job is to understand their lifestyle, energy needs and future plans, then guide them through the options available — whether that means increasing their solar capacity, adding battery storage or preparing their home for an EV. Done well, everyone wins: The customer gets a system that delivers greater long-term savings. The builder knows their customer has been looked after professionally. Smart Energy strengthens its builder relationships while growing revenue and margin.
