Registered Respiratory Therapist

**Job Title:** Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) **Location:** Camden, NJ **Job Type:** Full-Time / Contract / 36 hours weekly, 7pm to 7am **Job Summary** We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our healthcare team. The RRT will be responsible for assessing, treating, and caring for patients with breathing and cardiopulmonary disorders. This role requires strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities** - Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments and develop individualized care plans - Administer respiratory therapies, including oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and airway management - Operate and monitor mechanical ventilators and other life-support equipment - Respond to emergency situations, including code blue and rapid response events - Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling and interpret results - Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and treatment plans - Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes - Ensure accurate documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards - Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment **Qualifications** - Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program - Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential (NBRC) - Active state license in NJ - BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred for pediatric settings) - 2+ year of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Pediatric experience preferred - Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills Apply today to be part of a dedicated healthcare team! *Prosperity thanks all applicants for their interest in this opportunity.
