This position is responsible for providing education and care to patients with wounds, continence-related problems, and ostomies. **Essential Position Responsibilities** - Assist in establishing and maintaining policies and procedures related to wounds, ostomies, and continence - Assessment of patient needs related to wounds, continence related problems and ostomies - Collaborate with members of the patient’s healthcare team to develop plan for care while hospitalized - Educate patient and/or caregiver on post-discharge care **Qualifications** - **Education:** Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program - **Licensure and Certifications:** Arkansas Registered Nurse license & CPR, required. - **Experience:** Minimum two years of experience in a medical/surgical setting, preferred. **Work Environment**: This position will spend approximately 80% of the time standing and/or walking while pushing, pulling, lifting, and/or carrying up to 50 lbs and 20% of time sitting while performing work in a standard office environment. This position may have exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluids.
