Ensures that resident care meets professional standards and regulatory requirements, and is carried out in accordance with facility policies. Provides leadership and guidance to nursing staff. Works beyond normal working hours, on weekends and in other positions temporarily, when necessary. Interacts effectively with residents, their families, visitors and other staff members. Attends and participates in staff meetings as required. Treats residents with dignity and respect for their rights, provides privacy and maintains confidentiality. **QUALIFICATIONS:** · Must have a valid and current LPN or RN state license. · Demonstrated leadership ability. · Possess strong verbal and written communication skills. · Previous experience as long-term care charge nurse supervising unit nursing staff. \*\*Required to be on the on-call rotation. ***\*\*The rate of pay displayed reflects the beginning of the pay scale. This role ensures that all resident care meets professional standards and regulatory requirements while strictly aligning with facility policies.
