Sun River Health is currently seeking a **full-time Registered Nurse** to join our team at our **Amenia** site. **Summary:** The Staff Registered Nurse is a licensed nurse responsible for delivery of nursing care directly to individual clients. The Registered Nurse maintains the quality of client care through the ongoing processes of assessment, planning and implementation of nursing activities at the facility. **Job Type:** Full Time Pay: $45.00/hr to $52.11/hr **Sign On Bonus:** $2700 (Conditions Apply) **Essential duties and responsibilities of a Registered Nurse:** - Develops, implements and evaluates the nursing care regimens for clients. - Plans, coordinates and assesses client care. - Identifies client needs and provides direct nursing care based on the client’s care plan. - Documents client care with accurate and accessible records. - Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to develop, implement and evaluate client care. - Functions as preceptor to students, new hire candidates and other clinical team members/ staff when needed - Administer prescribed medication to clients and keeps accurate records of all medication administered in accordance with law and Sun River Health policies and procedures - Utilizes standing orders in accordance with Sun River Health policies and procedures - Communicates with Pharmacy, Laboratories and other vendors as needed. - Assists with medication refills per Sun River Health protocols - Maintains professional competence through participation in staff development and educational program. - Provides clinical education and counseling to patients for health promotion and disease prevention to improve health outcomes - Administer prescribed medication to clients and keeps accurate records of all medication administered in accordance with law and Sun River Health policies and procedures - Functions as preceptor to students, new hire candidates and other clinical team members/ staff when needed **Requirements:** - Bachelors Degree in Nursing Required - New York State Registered Nurse License Required - CPR/BLS Certification Required **About Sun River Health** Sun River Health has a rich history of providing quality, affordable health care to communities in need.
