This position provides nursing care and treatment services to individuals with medical, behavioral, or developmental needs in a correctional environment. It involves performing direct care, medication administration, clinical support, and emergency response. As a Registered Nurse, you will perform the following duties: - **Nursing Care:** Implement nursing care plans through vital sign checks, treatments, medication administration, and restorative techniques - **Clinical Support:** Assist physicians with examinations, chronic care clinics, specialty clinics, and patient education - **Emergency Response:** Provide first aid, CPR, AED use, and refer urgent matters to advanced practitioners or hospitals - **Record Management:** Maintain electronic health records, prepare reports, manage controlled substance logs, and ensure timely documentation - **Supply Oversight:** Sterilize instruments and maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment - **Professional Development:** Attend required training and stay informed of policy and procedure updates Interested in learning more?
