This is a Full Time position in Suffolk, VA. **Sign on Bonus up to $20,000 available for qualified candidates for Night shift.** **Sign on Bonus up to $15,000 available for qualified candidates for Day Shift.** **We have a Day shift and Night Shift Available!** 7am to 7pm with rotating weekend schedule for days 7PM to 7AM with rotating weekend schedule for nights **About the Unit** **The Telemetry unit** at Sentara Obici Hospital provides care for patients with cardiac conditions including heart failure, cardiac rhythm disturbances, newly implanted permanent pacemakers and defibrillators, post- coronary interventions, post-ablation, myocardial infarctions. 2 South also cares for pre/post catheterization, acute stroke, and post procedural neuro cases. This 25-bed unit sees a ratio of 1:6 with assistance of Patient Care Techs. The unit cares for patients with acuity higher than a typical medical-surgical unit. 2 South Acute Cardiac is also preparing for a transition to a Cardiac PCU step-down before year's end, making it an exciting opportunity for nurses seeking growth in a dynamic, high-acuity setting.
