Previous clinical nursing experience. **REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE :** Possession of current Texas State License for Registered Nurse **PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE:** **REQUIRED COURSES/COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR):** - Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire. - AHA ACLS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role (LABOR & DELIVERY) - *\*Should be completed before the end of the orientation period* - AHA NRP must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role (LABOR & DELIVERY or any nurse floated into L&D) *\*Should be completed before the end of the orientation period* - Fetal Monitoring - L&D and Antepartum: Novice RNs are required to complete GNOSIS introduction to Fetal Heart Monitoring with 30 days from hire date or transfer date into unit and AWHONN Intermediate Heart Monitoring with 8 months of L&D Orientation. Experienced L&D RNs (>1 yr experience) must have AWHONN Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring on hire or within the first 90 days of hire, - S.T.A.B.L.E. – Level 2 Nursery-Must provide proof of prior completion or obtain within 6 months of hire or transfer date into unit (Renewal is not required). - AHA PALS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role (PEDIATRICS) ### About the Team Baptist Health System has more than 120 years history of caring for our community and making a positive difference.
