With a strong focus on patient comfort, safety, and timely care, the department plays a vital role in early detection, treatment, and ongoing management of digestive health conditions. **How** **you’ll********contribute****** A **Registered Nurse (RN)** who excels in this role: - Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities. - Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family. - Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation - Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs. - Evaluates patient and family learning needs and provides appropriate education based on age, culture, condition, and circumstances. - Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient. - Participates in performance improvement and continuing education. **Schedule:** Full Tim Days Shift- On Call Required **What********we’re********looking for****:** - Associate’s degree in nursing required; bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred - Nursing License - Some Endoscopy experience preferred - BCLS and ACLS are required - PALS, and Handle with Care preferred; must be obtained within 30 days of employment. - **Why********join us:****** We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
