Join us on this meaningful journey where your skills, compassion and dedication will make a remarkable difference in the lives of those we serve. **How you’ll contribute** A **Registered Nurse (RN)** who excels in this role: **How you’ll contribute:** - Administer nursing care to ill or injured persons by assisting in caring for patients by giving direct care - Coordinate and deliver quality general and psychiatric nursing care to patients hospitalized for treatment of substance abuse, dual diagnosis, or psychiatric or emotional disorders - Assume direct responsibility for observation, delegation, and leadership of the unit staff and patients - Serve actively and constructively as a member of the multi-disciplinary team, supporting the organization, program, and unit philosophy of care - Ensure the safety and well-being of each patient - Ensures all medical orders are followed, initiates and follows treatment planning, and acts as a patient advocate at all times **What we’re looking for is a Registered Nurse (RN) who is responsible for supporting the needs of the department with a focus on clinical, operational, and administrative excellence with these qualifications:** - Current unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing, valid driver’s license preferred - Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required - Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients preferred - Basic Life Support certification and Handle with Care (HWC) within 30 days - 1 year of experience - May be required to work flexible hours **Schedule: Nights 7p – 7a + rotating weekends/on call, holidays** **Pay range for this position is $39.15-$52.85 p/hr** **Why join us** We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
