Registered Nurse - Radiation Therapy

Casual Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Registered Nurse to join our Radiation Therapy team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day. **Position Summary:** The Registered Nurse (RN) manages the episode of patient care in partnership with persons, care givers, groups, and other providers to reach a shared goal of delivering safe, quality health care. This patient care may be through direct care by the RN, or it may be through coordinating and supervising patient care delegated to, Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed assistive personnel. **Work Schedule:** Casual position **Required Qualifications:** - **Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:** - BSN/BAN in Nursing required. - 2 years of inpatient or outpatient oncology experience required. - Must have previously worked in the Radiation Therapy Department. - 1 year of radiation therapy experience preferred. - **Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:** - Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse License - BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines - **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** - NA **Preferred Qualifications:** - **Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:** - Graduate of a school of nursing - **Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:** - OCN preferred - **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** - Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients. - Telephone - Fax Machine - Computer skills - Current patient care technology/equipment. - Photo copier **Benefits:** Park Nicollet offers a competitive benefits package (for eligible positions) that includes medical insurance, dental insurance, a retirement program, time away from work, insurance options, tuition reimbursement, an employee assistance program, onsite clinic and much more! ****
