Job Description: As a Registered Nurse at Physician's Surgery Center of Chattanooga, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our patients' surgical experience. You will work closely with our surgical team to provide high-quality care, support, and education to patients and their families throughout their surgical journey. Responsibilities: Assess and triage patients upon arrival to the surgery center. Administer pre-operative medications and ensure patient readiness for surgery. Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or concerns during surgery. Assist the surgical team during procedures and maintain a sterile field. Provide post-operative care, monitor recovery, and manage pain control. Educate patients and their families on post-operative instructions and follow-up care. Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and fellow healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Ensure infection control protocols and safety standards are followed.
