## Overview Position: Registered Nurse Location: Kansas City, Missouri Department: Surgery Shifts Available: Full Time, Days Pay: $1,512 to $2,116.80 gross per week Assignment length: 12 weeks Premiere Healthcare Staffing is here to help you on your career journey! We place talented candidates with our partner healthcare facilities with the shared goal of providing exceptional, compassionate care. - Award-winning hospital partners across the nation - Dedicated career specialists to support you every step of the way - Immediate and flexible opportunities to create your career journey - Tailored career pathway where you can thrive personally and professionally ## Responsibilities - Prepare the operating room, ensure the cleanliness of the environment, and confirm that all required equipment is functioning properly - Assist in preparing the patient for surgery, which may involve verifying the patient's identity and surgical site, helping to position the patient on the operating table, and ensuring that all necessary pre-operative procedures are completed - Document pertinent information before, during, and after the surgical procedure, such as the patient's vital signs, medications administered, and any other relevant details for the patient's medical record including specimens and implants ## Qualifications **EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING** - Current and valid state RN License - Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current - Current ACLS (AHA) certificate required - Current PALS (AHA) certificate required - Minimum of one year previous Perioperative experience ***Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus:*** - Certified Nurse OR (CNOR) Certification (AORN) - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. #LI-JO3 Company is an equal employment opportunity employer.
