The addition of an Acute Care Registered Nurse is necessary to address increasing patient volumes and higher acuity levels while maintaining safe and compliant staffing ratios. **Financial Impact:** Proactively filling this role supports cost containment by reducing overtime expenses, minimizing reliance on agency staffing, and decreasing burnout-related turnover. Adequate staffing also lowers the risk of costly adverse events, readmissions, and extended lengths of stay. **Staffing Ratios:** This position ensures appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios aligned with best practice standards, promoting safe, efficient, and equitable patient care delivery in high-acuity settings. ## **Qualifications** - Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing - Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN required; BSN preferred) - Minimum of 1–2 years of acute care experience preferred - Current BLS certification - Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities - Commitment to inclusive, culturally competent, and patient-centered care
