Follows established policies and procedures. Communicates openly with internal customers and supervisors. Provides excellent customer service interfacing well with all levels of staff, management. and physicians. Applies Cooper core values. Other duties as required. ## Overview The Coronary Care Unit is a 12-bed cardiac intensive care unit. The CCU cares for complex cardiac critical care patients including structural heart (TAVR), pre-cardiac surgery, advanced heart failure, cardiogenic shock, and other critical cardiac disease processes. The CCU nurses receive specialized training to care for our critical care cardiac patients ## Experience Required A minimum of one year or more of acute care experience in an inpatient setting is preferred. ## Education Requirements Graduate of NLN-accredited School of Nursing ## License/Certification Requirements Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse) Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers) Certain specialties may require advanced certification (i.e. ACLS, NALS, PALS) ## Salary Min ($) USD $48.72 ## Salary Max ($) USD $73.64
