Registered Behavioral Technician (Soaring Heights School)

We offer behavioral healthcare services – psychiatry, addiction recovery, mental disorder treatment, etc. – that allow clients at all stages of recovery or rehabilitation to reclaim health and well-being. **Deliverable/Responsibilities:** - Implement Positive Behavior Support Plan (PBSP) and ABA-based interventions - Guide and support staff with implementation of PBSPs - Assist with preparing appropriate data collection forms - Collect, enter, and graph ABA data (Descriptive and quantitative) - Assist with completion of Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)- Observations, data collection, staff interviews, and data graphing - Conduct preference assessments - Conduct and assist with ABA skill assessments for students - Provide guidance with implementing token economies and classroom-wide reinforcement systems - Assist staff with crisis intervention techniques - Lead or assist with leading crisis event debriefs - Support and model implementation of preventative and de-escalation strategies - Coach, support and assist staff with implementation of ABA interventions and data collection using Behavioral Skills Training (BST) or elements of BST - Model the values and ethical guidelines set forth by the BACB and Soaring Heights Schools - Model and promote the use of a positive behavior intervention supports system - Participate in relevant meetings - Participate in RBT supervision sessions - Meet requirements to maintain RBT status in accordance with BACB regulations **Educational Requirements:** High school diploma/Equivalent is required.
