## Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Clinic Based **Location:** Livermore, CA **Schedule:** Monday–Friday from 1 PM to 6 PM ### About Ascend Rehab Inc. Our team provides **home-based, school-based, and center-based services**, supporting children and families through compassionate, evidence-based care. ### Job Summary The RBT will provide ABA-based interventions under the supervision of a **BCBA/BCaBA** and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to support children’s growth and development in a fun, structured environment. ### Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by a BCBA/BCaBA - Provide 1:1 and small-group ABA services in a preschool/community setting - Collect and document accurate data and session notes - Support children with daily routines, transitions, communication, and social skills - Assist with diapering, toileting, and maintaining a clean and safe environment - Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families - Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and ethical guidelines ### Minimum Qualifications - **Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (required)** - High school diploma or equivalent - Minimum **1 year experience working with children ages 0–5** - CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire) - Comfortable with hands-on care including diaper changing - Reliable, professional, and able to work as part of a team ### Preferred Qualifications - Experience working with children with special needs or in early intervention - Bilingual (preferred, not required) - Coursework in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, or ABA ### Benefits - Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance - 401(k) - Paid time off - Ongoing supervision, mentorship, and professional support - Letters of recommendation available for continuing education
