Regional Sales Manager - Colorado, Utah Territory

We have an opening for a Regional Sales Manager to grow sales, in Colorado and Utah, in a manner that protects and strengthens APCO reputation in the sign industry for excellence in product and service. **Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:** - Establish APCO as the premier source for architectural signing and displays in the territory. Territory: Colorado and Utah. - Pursue new sources of business. - Build relationships with clients and customers. - Build long-term relationships with all who influence buying decisions: End Users, Designers, Architects, Facility Managers, Property Managers, General Contractors and select Sign Companies. - Be the liaison between End users and the Sales Support Team at APCO. - Present APCO's AIA Continuing Education Classes to designers and architects in the territory that work in our markets (higher ed, government, healthcare, corporate, etc.) - Make Product Presentations in conjunction with AIA CEU's and whenever requested or accepted. - Development and presentation of sales proposals, budgets, samples, etc. - Provide timely Sales Projection Reports, Call Reports and Expense Reports. - Build relationships with major influencers in the territory. - Respond to customer complaints and help resolve problems. - Make periodic visits to factory to gain knowledge of new products and procedures. - Any additional duties that may be required to reach objective. **Necessary Skills and Training:** - Sales Talent, Energy and Ability - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Proficient in Microsoft Office - Good organizational skills - Valid Driver's License and Excellent Driving Record - Ability to handle multiple ongoing projects. - Ability to read and interpret customer supplied documents for pricing and sample specification purposes. - Sign Industry Knowledge or ability to learn quickly. **Physical Requirements** - Desk Height: undetermined - Desk Width: undetermined - Chair Height: adjustable - Lifting and carrying: Maximum 30 lbs. - Manual dexterity / finger movements: keyboard skills, telephone - Sitting:TBD, Standing:TBD, Walking:TBD, Stair Climbing:TBD, Driving:TBD **Disclaimers:** This job description does not create an employment contract.
