When you join Lewis, you're not just taking a job — you're investing in your future. ## Why You’ll Love It Here - Experience the great outdoors while working in nature, not stuck behind a desk! - Elevate your career with us — we prioritize training and internal promotions! - Join a vibrant team that champions safety, values your feedback, and fosters a strong sense of camaraderie! - Shape your future with us through our fantastic Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)! - $600 sign on bonus for new employees with 1+ years climbing experience ## Responsibilities **What You’ll Do as a Regional Fleet Manager** As a **Regional Fleet Manager** at Lewis Services, you’ll: - Lead fleet program management across a multi-state region, ensuring fleet priorities support operational needs and the enterprise fleet strategy - Manage and coach remote Fleet Coordinators, Technicians, and Mechanics, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development - Own the success of the preventative maintenance program and drive achievement of compliance targets - Create, manage, and improve sustainable processes and workflows that support best-in-class fleet practices - Ensure required asset inspections are current and maintenance files meet regulatory and company requirements - Oversee fleet excess yards, including asset security, inventory accuracy, ready-reserve availability, growth, and reallocation needs - Manage regional capital expense processes, including capital request submissions and complete asset retirement packages - Support strategic planning and tactical execution of the enterprise fleet plan - Conduct regular field visits to evaluate quality, compliance, and service provided by internal teams and third-party vendors - Participate in asset build specifications and collaborate with stakeholders to advance safety, innovation, and operational effectiveness - Own outside vendor relationships within the region, conduct quarterly business reviews, evaluate value and performance, and implement corrective action plans when needed - Present actionable fleet information during Operations meetings and serve as the regional fleet partner to Operations and Corporate teams - Serve as the DOT subject matter expert for Operations within the assigned region - Perform other duties as assigned ## Qualifications **What You Bring:** - 5+ years of fleet-related experience, including fleet program management - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience - Experience managing employees, including multiple remote direct reports - Experience and working knowledge of DOT and FMCSA compliance requirements - Experience creating and delivering training - Valid driver’s license and eligibility to operate company vehicles - Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment - Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage shifting priorities - Ability to build productive relationships, negotiate effectively, and resolve differences with internal and external partners - Strong written and verbal English communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly - Ability to develop and administer a regional fleet expense budget and interpret financial reports - Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with integrity **Preferred:** - Experience managing a large construction or utility service vehicle fleet - Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) - Bilingual Spanish, written and spoken - Experience with JD Edwards or another Fleet Management Information System - **Physical Demands** Ability to: Sit, stand, walk, reach, and perform repetitive keystrokes regularly Occasionally st…
