Job Description: Performs routine manual work in public works recycling area and all other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma with one year of experience working at a solid waste facility; or any combination of education and experience. Massachusetts Class D Driver�s License Additional Qualifications: General knowledge of solid waste procedures and operations. Knowledge of recycling regulations at the local, county, and state level. Ability to understand and carry out Solid Waste Division regulations. Ability to perform moderate manual labor under varying weather conditions. Ability to observe required safety precautions. Ability to deal effectively with the general public. Communication skills to deal with public and regulatory representatives for various recycling programs.
