A spirit built for service." **What does a Reconstruction Estimator (RE) with Paul Davis do?** - Conduct thorough on-site inspections and damage assessments of residential and commercial properties - Prepare accurate, detailed cost estimates for full reconstruction or major repair projects - Utilize industry-standard estimating software to generate line-item estimates and reports, i.e XM8, Symbility - Collaborate with insurance adjusters, property owners, contractors, architects, and engineers to review scopes of work and resolve discrepancies - Track and document all communications, site conditions, and decisions throughout the estimating and negotiation process - Assist the reconstruction/project management team with handover of estimates and ongoing cost tracking A reconstruction estimator specializes in assessing property damage from events like fires, floods, storms, water leaks, mold, or other disasters and preparing detailed cost estimates for repairing or fully rebuilding the affected structures.
