**Reading Teacher K-8, Itinerant *(Part-Time)*** **I. Position Details:** **Location-**This is a Tri-County Itinerant position currently based out of Crawford Christian Academy, providing services to Crawford Christian as well as Seton Catholic **Department:** School Improvement Services - Federal and State Programs **Start Date:** *2026-2027 school year* **Salary:** *Bachelor's*: $43.38/hour, *Master's* $45.96/hour, *Master's +15 credits*: $45.96/hour **PTO:** 10 paid sick days, 1 Personal Day, 1 Emergency Day per school year (prorated based on start date) **Benefits:** Eligible to purchase Dental & Vision Insurance at full premium at time of hire or open enrollment **Number of Positions:** 1 **II. Position Overview:** The Northwest Tri-County Intermediate Unit (IU5) has a need for a Part-Time Reading Teacher, working with grades K-8. This position is responsible to plan, provide, and implement skill-based interventions to students that will result in students achieving academic success. The Part-Time Reading Teacher will work collaboratively with professional staff to implement a quality reading program that meets the needs of students needing intervention by delivering small group instruction within established curriculum guidelines. This position will also be responsible for responding to a wide range of inquiries from student's parents or guardians regarding instructional program and student progress. **III Required Qualifications**: - PA Teaching Certification - Reading Specialist Certification - Driver's license in your state of residence and reliable transportation
