Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Complete Daily Forklift Maintenance / Pre-shift Inspection sheet. - Puts away palletized units by raising forks for placement into locations (both single and double deep) up to 7 levels high / 500 inches. - Picks palletized units from locations (both single and double deep) up to 7 levels high / 500” and stages for outbound shipment. - Record materials, weight, counts, condition of food items via RF system. - Load and unload materials on and off pallets, skids, or lifting devices. - Inventory product as needed. - Label, sort, stack, wrap and tie product as needed. - Recharges maintain and clean batteries as needed while using appropriate PPE. - Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area. - Wear company provided / approved cold weather PPE at all times during warehouse operations. - Conducts operations in a manner which promotes safety. Other Duties and Responsibilities: - Maintain a clean personal work environment. - May perform other duties of Forklift Operator / Utility as directed. - May perform other duties as assigned to fulfill AGILE’S objectives. Required Qualifications of High Reach Forklift Operator: - 1+ year(s) of experience operating a stand-up forklift or reach truck. - Must be capable of lifting to 70 pounds. - Strong communication skills with the ability to read and speak English. - Must be able and willing to complete a per-employment background check and drug screen. - Strong Teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications of High Reach Forklift Operator: - High School Diploma or GED. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: The employee must have proficient knowledge of English. The employee also must be capable of following written and verbal instructions. The employee must possess a strong resistance to a cold environment. Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to extreme cold. The employee is frequently exposed to moving machinery. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Physical and Mental Demands: This job will frequently require standing, walking, sitting, handling, reaching outward, and reaching above the shoulder. This job will occasionally require climbing, squatting or kneeling, and bending. The job will occasionally require lifting / carrying / push / pull 10 lbs. to 50 lbs. The associate must know and follow proper office and safety protocols; know and follow AGILE’s grooming, hygiene and dress code policies including appropriate personal protection equipment (PPE) for safety compliance. The associate is frequently exposed to extreme cold. The noise level in the warehouse is usually moderate.Supervisory Responsibilities: Occasionally may be placed in charge of special projects with support from front line supervision.
