Northwest Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) is a multi-specialty, ambulatory surgical center located in the northwest section of Portland, OR. We believe health and care are inseparable. What You Will Do (Job Summary): The Radiology Technician will perform multiple procedures under the direction of specialized physicians, including operation of special imaging and radiology equipment. Skilled at sterile field assistance during operating room and other procedures. Key Duties Include: *IV and contrast administration, orthopedic radiology, pediatric radiology, operating room Radiology, trauma *Radiology, GI Radiology, outpatient and inpatient diagnostic Radiology, myelography and arthrography. *Perform Pain Blocks, Cholangiograms, CXR, Modified Specimen Mammogram. *File and log in OR x-rays, keep Mini C-Arm logs updated. *Report system of radiology findings to physician. Required Skills Graduate of an accredited program in Radiology Technology or X Ray Technology. 1+ years of experience in C-Arm and Portable x-rays in operating room setting. ARRT Registered, State MRT and CPR Current. Knowledgeable of local, state, federal and Joint Commission Regulations. Must possess independent decision making skills. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects. Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families.
