Your journey to a fulfilling career starts here! **Schedule: Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays as needed** Radiology Tech Operating Room at Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Las Colinas: · Performs quality diagnostic procedures accurately and in a timely manner in surgery for Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Las Colinas. Qualifications Education: · High School diploma or equivalent · Graduate of AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology License: · Current & Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologies (ARRT) Certificate · Current BLS certification Required Experience: · Two to five years’ experience specific to surgical radiological exam · Ortho and Spine experience required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: · Demonstrates responsibility for the care and safety of patients undergoing treatment and use of equipment to minimize hazards of electric shock, burns and extraneous radiation to patients · Demonstrates ability to assess data, prioritize care, and plan interventions dependent on the age group of the population served. · Demonstrates ability to discuss treatment/service and to provide education information to patients/families in age group served · Ability to utilize Electronic Healthcare Record for patient documentation. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: · The OR Radiology Technician operates X-ray equipment, C-ARMS and prepares patient’s room, equipment, and supplies. · Provides patient services using imaging modalities. · Practices proper radiation safety techniques on all exams preformed. · Performs all Quality control checks, as prescribed. · Maintains accurate QC logs, service records, etc. · Performs highest quality imaging consistent with…
