Reach out to see how you can be part of this dynamic organization that is deeply woven into the region.** **Position:** Radiology/Stress Testing Nurse Float (RN) **Job Status:** Full Time **Pay Rate:** Hourly $34.52 - $47.05 (dependent on experience) Additional $2.00 hour for BSN degree, additional $1.00 hour for approved certifications **Benefits:** Dependent on Job Status - Medical Insurance - (multiple plans available) - Dental Insurance - Vision Insurance - Life Insurance - Short Term Disability - Long Term Disability - Retirement - Generous Paid Time Off **Key Responsibilities:** - Assess, monitor, and prepare patients for procedures, infusions, or stress testing - Administer medications, as ordered - Monitor patients during and after procedures, stress testing, or infusions, recognizing and responding to complications - Start and manage IV lines and maintain vascular access - Provide patient education and post-procedure instructions - Collaborate effectively with radiologists, providers, technologists, and multidisciplinary teams - Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record - Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards - Work one emergency shift per week **Qualifications:** - Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan. - BLS required; ACLS and PALS required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire - Previous experience in Radiology Procedural Nursing or Emergency Department Nursing preferred - Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills - TNCC preferred, but not required Helen Newberry Joy Hospital does not discriminate in employment opportunities or practices on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, disability or any other classification in accordance with federal, state and local statutes, regulations and ordinances.
