Radiographic Technologist (Per Diem)

## Description Under the direction of the Radiologist, through the Director of Imaging, this person performs radiographic and CT procedures at a technical level requiring minimal supervision. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment and initiative. Assumes responsibility for assigned shifts. Serves all age groups of patients, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** - Performs computed tomography scans using protocols established by interpreting Radiologists. - Produces diagnostic radiographs on all exams. - Performs clerical work associated with exams/scans administered. - Assure proper maintenance and cleanliness of all working equipment and surrounding area. **Physical, Communication, Mental and Environmental Demands:** - Prolonged walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling. - Continuous handling, fingering and eye-hand-foot coordination. - Continuous use of vision (corrected vision, depth perception, wide field of vision and color vision). - Pushing to 200 lbs., pulling to 100 lbs., lifting to 100 lbs. and carrying to 50 lbs. - High attention to detail, concentration, alertness and mathematical ability levels needed. - Ability to communicate (written, verbal, etc.) clearly and effectively. **Job Qualifications/Skills:** - Current State of Hawaii Radiographer license is required. - Must be ARRT registered. - Must have working knowledge of portable x-ray machine and C-Arm procedures. - CT experience required; must be able to independently perform CT scans. - 3+ years of experience preferred. **The above information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by an employee in this classification.
