**DEPARTMENT:** Racking **JOB TITLE: Racker/Unracker** **REPORTS TO:** Shift Supervisor **SHIFT MID-DAY/HOURS: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM Monday to Friday. 40+ hours per week over the course of 5 days, with occasional mandatory Saturday for OT.** **STARTING PAY: $17.51** **POSITION OVERVIEW** We are looking for motivated and detail‑oriented individuals to join our Anodizing Department as Racking / Unracking Operator people who take pride in their work and want to be part of something meaningful. In this role, you are far more than someone who unracks aluminum; you become a trusted and valued member of a team that ensures our aluminum extrusion products are prepared safely, accurately, and with the care needed to meet Bonnell Aluminum’s high standards. **THINGS YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:** - Rack or Unrack aluminum extrusion finished parts carefully after the anodizing process, protecting each piece from scratches, dents, and other surface defects. - Rack aluminum extrusion parts onto titanium racks with accuracy and care to ensure proper spacing, alignment and secure attachment. - Unrack finished parts after the anodizing process, protecting them from scratches, dents, or damage. - **Inspect parts** during both racking and unracking to identify dents, scratches, blisters, die lines, streaks, bow, twist, or imperfections. - **Recognize different aluminum sizes**, shapes, and profiles to place each piece correctly. - Use measuring tools when required to verify part lengths and confirm compliance with shop order requirements and Bonnell Aluminum quality standards. **Use measuring tools** to verify part lengths and ensure they meet quality standards.
