Quick Lane Service Technician

Quick Lane Tire & Auto Center in Vacaville, CA is hiring a Quick Lane Technician to perform oil changes, fluid inspections, and routine maintenance services. This is an entry-level role with room to grow, well-suited for someone with a basic mechanical background who wants hands-on experience in a high-volume service environment. * * * ## What We Offer - Competitive pay - Flexible scheduling - Health insurance - PTO and sick leave - 401(k) * * * ## What You'll Do - Perform oil and filter changes accurately and efficiently - Check and top off transmission fluid, coolant, brake fluid, power steering fluid, and windshield washer fluid - Inspect belts, hoses, and air filters and flag items that need attention - Check tire pressure and inspect tires for wear - Test vehicle systems and components to confirm they are functioning properly - Operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely - Keep the service bay clean and organized throughout the shift * * * ## What We're Looking For - Prior experience in a shop or service environment preferred - ASE certification preferred - Knowledge of basic vehicle systems and maintenance procedures - Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment - Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds - Valid driver's license and clean driving record required - High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training a plus * * * *Quick Lane Tire & Auto Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
