Quality Technician - Night Shift

The NOV Fiber Glass Systems tubular facility in San Antonio, TX is seeking an experienced night shift Quality Technicians to join their dynamic team. For more specifics please visit our benefits page https://usbenefits.nov.com/ **PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES** - Understanding of quality concepts in a manufacturing environment - Hands-on experience with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, and similar equipment - Inspect, reject or accept product according to visual standard, weight, tally and other Q.C. requirements - Documentation and recordkeeping - Control the removal of monogram from non-conforming product - Wear appropriate PPE - Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines and procedures - Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures - Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures - Other duties as assigned **EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS** - High School diploma or equivalent - Three years of verifiable work experience, preferred in manufacturing environment - **JOB REQUIREMENTS** - Factory environment with large range in temperature changes - Standing, walking, & Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily - Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily - Lifting weights up to 50 lbs.
