We are looking for someone with an **Aerospace and Defense** background to join our talented team! The Quality technician is responsible for: 1st - Piece, 1st Article, in - Process, and final Inspections. Maintain Quality records, implement, audit and improve Quality processes, policy and procedures. **\*\*Not accepting applications from staffing agencies or third-party recruiters.\*\*** ## Requirements - Develop and audit quality control plans. - Maintain a system for calibration of measuring and testing equipment. - Stop production to limit further processing or delivery of nonconforming products until the deficiency has been corrected. - Identifies and records any problem relating to the product, process, and QMS. - Verify implemented solutions. - Participate in corrective and preventive action processes. - Provide inspection support for Production, Engineering, and Quality. - Maintain quality records. - Compiles statistical data and writes narrative reports summarizing findings. - Compile statistical data and write narrative reports summarizing findings. - Produce all required quality documentation for the customer product. Initial or sign and date all documents and revisions. **Skills & Experience** - Associate degree, technical/trade school training **or** equivalent with minimum of 3 years related experience. (Additional experience may be substituted for formal education.) - Knowledge of the Company quality policy. - Knowledge of the QMS policies and procedures. - GD&T - Comprehensive Metrology knowledge - First Pc., In-Process, Final inspections - Operation of test equipment (Profile and Form measurement systems, Vision Systems, CMM, Layout and hand tools) - QMS (AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO 13485) System standards and internal audit experience helpful. - Use and operation of Inspection hand tools, Optical comparator, CMM operation as well as knowledge and experience of industry inspection methods.
