POSITION PURPOSE: This Quality Supplier Analyst will provide resolutions to Quality Issues that arise from our customers. Responsible for maintaining the Non-Conformance Database and ensuring that the information entered is accurate. The position requires continuous monitoring of any issues to ensure that all the issues are responded to and resolved quickly. DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Enter and investigate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) Works with purchasing and technical to develop quality control plans. Root Cause Analysis and Reporting Manage Customer Quality Requests/Issues Create/Forward and Follow-up on NCRs and Corrective Actions to Terminals Ensure that NCRs and Corrective Actions are Responded to and Closed Responsible for supplier corrective action processes including containment, root cause analysis, execution of corrective actions and tracking of approved process deviations to ensure continuity within our products / components. Measure supplier quality performance according to established procedures; drives appropriate improvements to meet established targets. Review and collection of Debits/Credits related to terminal fees. Product Testing – Send needed product for testing. Create Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly Quality Reports Works with purchasing to participate in supplier evaluations, selection, and strategic sourcing process development. Works to development and support KPI goals Supports and leads special projects and performs other related job duties as assigned. Create Quality Summary Reports that Pertain to NCRs, CARs, and Audits Assist with ISO tasks and internal audits. Travel to terminals for site visits/audits and quality investigations Other Duties as Assigned SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: College, university, or equivalent degree in engineering or a related technical or scientific subject required. Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and or Chemistry Preferred Willing to Learn and Grow Beyond Job Description Ability to Travel (30%) Working in packaging preferred Able to manage multiple projects and varying tasks simultaneously Strong Microsoft Office and data management skills required Ability to work with all functional areas of the organization as well external suppliers or stakeholders. Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with internal and external customers. Skilled in building relationship Good analytical and research / problem solving skills.
