Quality Inspector I (25462)

**Job Summary** This position provides inspection on incoming parts; work in process and completed parts at final acceptance. These inspections are to ensure conformance to the company and customer’s standards. Performs in-process inspection on product being processed through the work cell, specifically at SAW, Post Print and Braze operations. **Essential Job Elements** - Adhere to all process requirements and part handling. - Use of Moisture Sensitive Device (MSD) handling requirements based on component moisture sensitive levels (MSL). - Verify process compliance to document control process and procedures. - Examine product to verify conformance to workmanship standards. - Inspects and approves incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting unacceptable materials through the designated ERP system. - Inspect product being processed through work cell according to specific in-process inspector training and procedure, along with MIL-Std-883 & JDEC9C workmanship standards. - Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs as applicable. - Resolve quality-related issues in a timely matter. - Approves finished material and/or product by confirming specifications, conducting visual measurement tests, returning products for re-work and confirming re-work. - Responsible for stopping processes, with communication to Production Supervisor, lead and/or engineering, to control manufacture of non-conforming assemblies. - Support and follow all ISO standards related to various Quality Management Systems. These systems may include, but are not limited to, quality, the environment, health, safety and security. - Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations. - Perform all other duties, as assigned. **Education/Work Experience** - High School Diploma preferred - Experience with measuring devices such as calipers, pin gauges, feeler gauges, height gauges and other measuring instruments - Experience with automated measuring equipment is a plus: CyberScan, CMM, etc. - Certification to IPC-600-Series & J-STD-Series is a plus - Experience with GD&T is a plus **Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities** - Ability to apply IPC-A-610 standard requirements - Ability to apply JDEC9C standard requirements - Ability to apply MIL-STD-883 Meth. 2032 standard requirements - Ability to utilize Stereo Microscope for inspection of product - Written and verbal communication skills - Basic computer skills: MS Word, MS Excel and MS Planner - Knowledge of interpretation of designated specifications - High attention to detail. - Sense of urgency, successful at meeting deadlines. - Ability to work effectively as part of a team and as an individual - Monitor processes, materials, or surroundings. - Ability to work on multiple tasks using a wide range of procedures with a minimum low-level complexity. - Ability to follow established procedures on routine work. **Behavior Competencies** • Adaptability • Problem Solving, Decision Making and Continuous Improvement • Initiative, Reliable, Dependable • Safety & Environmental Awareness / Proactiveness • Teamwork and Positive Relationships • Work Standards, Quality & Attention to Details **Due to ITAR and / or CUI compliance, this position requires candidates to be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident.** Benefits Offered: Comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental and vision coverage; company-paid basic life/AD&D insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance; voluntary supplemental insurances, flexible spending accounts and employee assistance program (EAP).
