Quality Engineering Technician

As a Quality Engineering Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in supporting the quality engineering team by performing detailed inspections, testing, and data collection to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will report directly to our Quality Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Northford, CT location on an On-site work schedule. In this role, you will impact product quality assurance processes by providing accurate and timely data, identifying quality issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product performance and customer satisfaction. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Perform routine and non-routine inspections and tests on products and components to verify compliance with quality standards. - Collect, record, and analyze quality data to support engineering and manufacturing teams in identifying trends and areas for improvement. - Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and documentation. [Learn more](https://benefits.honeywell.com/) The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates. ### Responsibilities #### YOU MUST HAVE - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics. - 2+ years of experience in quality inspection, testing, or quality engineering support roles. - Strong knowledge of quality control principles, inspection techniques, and data collection methods. - Proficiency with quality measurement tools and software for data analysis and reporting. - Experience with quality standards such as ISO or Six Sigma methodologies is preferred. #### WE VALUE - Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology or related field. - Experience in building automation or manufacturing industries. - Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and root cause analysis techniques. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and support continuous improvement initiatives. - Good organizational skills and attention to detail. ### Qualifications #### ABOUT HONEYWELL Honeywell International Inc.
