Quality Engineer

The Job: Drive the quality influence and develop the quality system in the early stages of NPI, e.g. EVT, where the customized APQP qualification process should be applied Drive the definition, implementation, and execution of quality plans for new and existing 3D printing hardware product. Work closely with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Product Management, Operations) to ensure seamless product development and launch. Collaborate with manufacturing partners (CM/JDM) to establish quality control processes and ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the supply chain Develop the sub-tier suppliers qualification process Analyze data, lead DOE, identify root causes of failures, and drive corrective actions with engineering, manufacturing, and CM/JDMs. Lead failure analysis investigations and implement robust corrective and preventive actions (SCAR). Lead the development and improvement of quality management systems and processes from scratch. Champion quality throughout the organization and foster a culture of continuous improvement. You: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field). Overseas degree is a big plus 8+ years of experience in hardware quality engineering, preferably in consumer electronics, robotics, or a related industry. Experience with complex electromechanical systems is highly desirable. Strong understanding of statistical analysis, data interpretation, and problem-solving techniques. A six sigma green/black belt is a big plus. Experience with JMP, Minitab, or other statistical software is a must Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., IATF) and quality tools (e.g., FMEA, Control Plans).
