Veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.** **What You'll Do:** - Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards for the Boss Division to ensure 100% customer satisfaction and adherence specifications. - Lead cross-functional investigations into internal and external non-conformances. - Utilize 5-Why, Fishbone, or 8D methodologies to identify the "source" of failures and implement permanent corrective actions. - Manage improvement projects (Lean/Six Sigma) to reduce scrap, rework, and manufacturing variances. - Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) - Author and manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and standard work documents within the - Quality Document Control System to ensure manufacturing consistency. - Conduct internal audits of work procedures to ensure compliance. - Communicate technical non-conformances to suppliers and internal production teams, following up to verify that process adjustments are effective. - Inspect and approve incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods against engineering drawings and specifications. - Communicate nonconformances to affected parties and lead the initiative for corrections. - Issue Corrective Actions where appropriate. Manage containment efforts where needed for non-conforming products. - Manage all production gauges; recommending gauges for new parts and keeping existing gauges calibrated - Serve as a technical subject matter expert, educating and training floor personnel on quality best practices, blueprint reading, and measurement techniques **What We're Looking For:** - Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related science required.
