Confidential Employer. **Job Description** - Lead all quality assurance and quality control programs across ready-mix concrete, aggregates, and related materials operations. - Serve as the company's primary technical expert on materials quality, testing, and specification compliance. - Oversee concrete mix design development, optimization, validation, and approvals. - Direct laboratory operations, quality systems, and accreditation requirements. - Ensure compliance with ASTM, ACI, TxDOT, and customer specifications. - Partner with operations, sales, and customers to provide technical guidance and problem resolution. - Investigate quality concerns and implement corrective and preventive actions. - Develop, mentor, and lead regional quality control managers, laboratory managers, technicians, and quality personnel. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on product consistency, compliance, and operational excellence. - Monitor quality metrics, audits, certifications, and overall program performance. **Qualifications** - 7+ years of experience in ready-mix concrete, aggregates, or construction materials. - 3+ years of technical leadership or quality management experience. - Strong knowledge of ASTM, ACI, TxDOT, laboratory operations, and quality management systems. - ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade I. - ACI Concrete Strength Testing Technician. - ACI Concrete Laboratory Testing Technician Level 1. - ACI Aggregate Testing Technician Level 1. - NRMCA Concrete Technologist Level 3 or 4. - Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, Construction Management, Geology, or related field preferred. - Professional Engineer license and advanced ACI/TxDOT certifications are preferred. **Why You Will Love Working Here** Our team believes great people build great companies.
