## Overview Performs basic quality checks during the production phase to determine compliance to standards. Will do other random sampling and checks as directed by the Quality Director. ## Description **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** *include the following. Other duties may be assigned.* 1. Run daily CMM inspections. Make adjustments as necessary. 2. Perform first piece inspections from the CNC Dept. 3. Perform tensile testing. 4. Perform spectrometer testing. 5. Do Romer scans & overlays. 6. Perform x-ray inspections. 7. Layout parts for PPAP. 8. Participate in GR&R studies. 9. Do capability studies. 10. Assist in maintaining calibration system. 11. Become a backup for sand lab testing. ## Requirements High School diploma or GED; some technical school training in foundry practices or metallurgy desirable; one to three years in related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
