Any issues should be brought to the immediate attention of area supervisor or manager.** | | | --- | --- | | 1. The grading of finished product, following USDA standards or customer specifications whichever apply. Communicate with proper personnel if product does not meet spec. | | | 2. Grading of raw materials, dry beans, sweeteners, vinegar etc.. Communicate with proper personnel if product does not meet spec. | | | 3. In process grading of different products, i.e. green beans, bean salad, tomato products, dry beans, etc. Communicate with proper personnel if product does not meet spec. | | | 4. Grading of Co- pack products, communicate with proper personnel if product does not meet spec. | | | 5. Calibration of lab equipment. | | | 6. Canning of dry bean samples and dry bean shipments. | | | 7. Help with product cuttings. | | | 8. Maintain cleanliness in work area and lab. | | | 9. Other functions that may be required by Supervisor. 10. Maintain a positive teamwork atmosphere by acting professionally, communicating and helping co-workers. | | | **Skills and Abilities** | | | 1. Must be able to follow directions. | | | 2. Must be cooperative and maintain a team spirit. | | | 3. Basic knowledge of Mathematics necessary | | | 4. Must be able to be trained on the different lab equipment. | | | 5. Sensory skills – a plus | | | 6. Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely with personnel on the floor as well as Supervision. 7.
