This role requires a proactive leader with a strong background in heavy civil construction, project management, and safety compliance. As a key member of our team, you will coordinate daily operations on-site, supervise crews, ensure quality standards are met, and maintain project schedules to deliver successful outcomes. Your expertise will help drive efficiency, safety, and excellence throughout the project lifecycle in a fast-paced environment. **Responsibilities** - Lead and supervise construction activities at pump station sites, ensuring adherence to project plans, schematics, and blueprints. - Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to develop and maintain detailed project schedule. - Oversee site safety programs in compliance with OSHA regulations; conduct regular safety audits and enforce safety protocols among all personnel. - Manage procurement, contracts, and budgets related to civil construction tasks; track costs and ensure projects stay within financial parameters. - Review technical drawings, schematics, and specifications; utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and quality control inspections. - Supervise crews on-site, providing guidance on construction methods, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and use of construction estimating tools like HeavyJob. - Ensure all work meets quality standards through rigorous inspections and documentation. - Maintain accurate records of daily progress, safety incidents, material usage, and equipment maintenance logs. **Skills** - Extensive experience in heavy civil construction projects involving pipeline infrastructure and pump stations. - Proficiency with construction management software including HeavyJob, and other relevant tools. - Strong understanding of contracts administration and project scheduling techniques. - Demonstrated supervising experience with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively. - Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices for construction site safety management. - Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, construction estimating, budgeting, and quality control procedures. - Ability to operate electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters; familiarity with construction site safety protocols is essential.
