This position plays a vital role in creating an exceptional environment for our members and guests by ensuring that all public spaces reflect the club’s commitment to excellence, attention to detail, and world-class hospitality. The successful candidate will take pride in delivering discreet, personalized service while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and professionalism. As an integral member of the Housekeeping team, the Public Area Attendant contributes directly to the overall member experience and the continued success of our luxury club operations. This job description outlines the primary responsibilities and expectations of the position; however, additional duties may be assigned as needed to support the club’s operations. * * * # Job Responsibilities and Standards ## Job Duties - Maintain the exceptional cleanliness, appearance, and presentation of all public areas throughout the private luxury club facilities. - Perform daily cleaning duties in accordance with established luxury hospitality standards and departmental procedures. - Follow assigned cleaning schedules and ensure all checklist items are completed thoroughly and efficiently. - Clean, disinfect, and deodorize restrooms, including lavatories, toilets, shower areas, outdoor showers, and bathtubs, ensuring a consistently sanitary and welcoming environment. - Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of lanais, glass windows, sliding doors, and other designated guest areas. - Operate floor care equipment, carpet equipment, and hand tools safely and effectively. - Provide attentive and courteous assistance to members and guests while maintaining a professional and discreet presence. - Respond promptly to member requests and service needs with a positive, solutions-oriented approach. - Maintain all assigned equipment and promptly report damaged or malfunctioning items to management. - Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned, stored, and maintained for safe and efficient operation. - Follow all safety procedures and utilize required personal protective equipment. - Ensure all lost-and-found items are properly turned in to Housekeeping or Security before the end of each shift. - Return keys, radios, and completed assignments to the Housekeeping Manager at the conclusion of each shift. - Assist with special projects and perform additional duties as assigned by management. * * * # Schedule Requirements - This is a **PM shift position**. - Must maintain schedule flexibility and be available to support operational needs, including additional hours when required. * * * # Qualifications - High School Diploma or equivalent required. - Valid U.S. Driver’s License required. - Previous housekeeping, hospitality, resort, or luxury service experience preferred. - Knowledge of professional cleaning methods, products, and equipment. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to provide exceptional service while maintaining professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail. * * * # Safety Responsibilities - Demonstrate adherence to the club’s safety standards and procedures. - Identify and report unsafe conditions or practices to management. - Utilize proper body mechanics and safe lifting techniques while performing assigned responsibilities. - Follow established procedures for reporting workplace injuries. - Maintain awareness of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and refer to them when necessary. - Wear appropriate protective equipment as required. * * * # Physical and Mental Requirements - Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods. -…
