PTC Windchill Application Manager

We are seeking an experienced PTC Windchill Application Manager to lead the implementation and deployment of Client's new Infrastructure Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platform based on PTC Windchill. This role supports a strategic transformation initiative to modernize Client's infrastructure engineering ecosystem by implementing a scalable enterprise PLM platform that integrates with Product Master Data Management (MDM), sourcing, procurement, manufacturing, and downstream execution systems. The successful candidate will provide end-to-end application leadership for the implementation program, coordinating business stakeholders, engineering teams, system integrators, and vendors to ensure a successful production deployment. The existing application team currently supports PTC Windchill, Modello, and Master Data Management (MDM) while simultaneously managing six active workstreams. This dedicated role provides the capacity required to execute the new PLM implementation without impacting ongoing production support and business commitments. This is a project-based implementation role with clearly defined milestones, production go-live objectives, and transition criteria. Following successful deployment and production stabilization, steady-state application ownership will transition to the permanent application team, concluding the engagement. Key Responsibilities 1. Infrastructure PLM Implementation Leadership Lead end-to-end implementation of the new Infrastructure PLM platform using PTC Windchill. Develop and execute implementation plans aligned with business milestones and deployment timelines. Coordinate all phases of the implementation lifecycle, including: Requirements validation Solution design Configuration Integration Data migration Testing Deployment Hypercare Transition to operations Ensure successful delivery within agreed scope, schedule, and quality objectives. Drive readiness for production deployment and operational acceptance. 2. Application Management Provide functional and technical leadership for the Windchill implementation. Coordinate configuration of: Product structures Part management Engineering Change Management Lifecycle management Workflows Security Access controls Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture and engineering standards. Review solution quality and implementation deliverables from internal and vendor teams. 3. Integration & Enterprise Readiness Coordinate implementation and validation of integrations between Windchill and: Master Data Management (MDM) Modello ERP platforms Sourcing systems Procurement applications Manufacturing systems Downstream order execution Enterprise analytics platforms Responsibilities include: Integration planning Interface validation Data synchronization Error resolution Cutover coordination Production readiness 4. Program Delivery Develop and manage detailed implementation schedules and milestone plans. Track risks, issues, dependencies, and action items. Facilitate cross-functional planning sessions and status reviews. Coordinate implementation across engineering, infrastructure, data, security, and business teams. Manage implementation governance and executive reporting. Escalate critical issues and recommend mitigation strategies. Ensure alignment with overall Infrastructure PLM roadmap. 5. Testing & Deployment Coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production validation. Oversee defect management and release readiness. Ensure completion of all deployment prerequisites. Lead cutover planning and production go-live activities. Coordinate production support during hypercare. Validate achievement of implementation success criteria. 6. Vendor & Stakeholder Management Manage implementation partners and third-party vendors.
